Ben Thanh Market

Ben Thanh Market has been being well-known to lots of people, including tourists and locals due to its great location in the CBD, also its uniqueness. Throughout the day and night, you will see rows of kiosks selling various types of products, such as apparels, textiles, luggage, watches, handicrafts, and electronic goods until 12:00 am. Furthermore, this would be an ideal place for you to experience the art of street food. Almost all of the Vietnamese cuisines and street food are selling here at affordable price.

Cho Lon Market (Chinatown of Saigon)

Cho Lon, which is also known as Binh Tay Market, is located in District 5 of Ho Chi Minh City. The market is a perfect place to experience the local Buddhist culture, vibrant ambiance, and opulent architecture, fascinating Vietnamese-born-Chinese culture. Moreover, at Cho Lon market, there are plenty of goods which are sold as wholesale includes textiles, handicrafts, lacquerware, and dried food, and fresh produce. An Dong Market (Craft Market)

An Dong Market is located in District 5, which is approximately 10 minutes of driving from the CBD of Ho Chi Minh City. The market houses numerous local wholesalers and most of them sell clothing and handicrafts. In fact, you will be able to easily buy extensive collections of apparels, textiles, shoes, handbags and accessories on the first two floors. Additionally, the top floor is a heaven of quality woodwork, lacquerware, knitwear and trinkets which are made by skilled local artisans. Items sold here are a lot cheaper than the other markets. One of the best things is you can haggle for a decent price in these markets.

Dai Quang Minh Market

District 5 can be seen as a brilliant destination for wholesale shoppers. Apart from Cho Lon and An Dong Market, the district also houses Dai Quang Minh Market, which is a heaven of craft supply. Indeed, the market’s 600 wholesalers sell a wide range of things, which are hung over the shelves for sewing, accessories, and appliques. Walking into the market, you will definitely feel overwhelmed by the crowded, humid and noisy atmosphere. However, this is an interesting place for people who are really into do-it-yourself things, since the goods sold here are diverse and suitable for custom-made accessories.

Dan Sinh Market (War Surplus Market)

Dan Sinh Market also can be called as the War Surplus Market, where sells many an impressive array of military memorabilia from the Vietnam War. The market is located about 5 minutes away from Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien, which are backpackers’ streets. You can simply find almost military stuff here, such as from uniforms, jackets, and combat boots to binoculars, gas masks, helmets, Zippo lighters and identification tags.  Nonetheless, most of the items sold here are inauthentic war relic, so please double check the price and ensure that you will bargain to get a better price.

Ho Thi Ki Wholesale Flower Market

Ho Thi Ki recently has become one of the top destinations attracting tourists in Ho Chi Minh City. It will be such a pity if you do not visit the market during your Vietnam trip. As the name of the market has shown us which type of produce sold there, the market supplies tones of fresh flowers to other numerous retail markets in the city. In fact, visiting this market, you will be able to see a lot of flowers.
