Question 1:

we are NZ Citizens cruising from Bangkok to HohChiMin City in November 2012, arriving 7am departing 6pm. Do we need a visa? do we need to apply before we leave NZ, or are these issued on board the cruise liner? Thank you

At the current time, visa on arrival is only acceptable for travelling by air. Thus, you are advised to come to Vietnam Embassy and apply for Visa in person
