I will travel into Vietnam overland and not to an airport. Is it still ok to apply on line, the Vietnam embassy is now closed where I live. Where would i get my visa stamped?

Be kindly noted that visa on arrival is not applicable for traveling by land or by ship. You just can use this visa if you travel to Vietnam by air.

Thus, we would like to highly recommend you to come to Vietnam Embassy in person to apply for visa in person.
